Welcome to MetKids Sundays! It is a privilege and a joy to welcome your child(ren) Sunday mornings during our 11:00 am service. Our hope is that each Sunday kids will come home with a deeper appreciation of God's word and how it all fits together to tell one big story—God’s plan to rescue and redeem sinners through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our friendly Welcome team members are there to help you register or find your way. We are excited to meet you!

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Our check-in kiosks open up at 20 minutes prior to the start of Sunday morning service. You can check in your child(ren) at the MetKids entrance, or upstairs. The kiosks are set up for self check in but there will be a Welcome team member available to help guide you through the process and direct you if you are unsure of where to go.
Once you have checked in your child(ren) we ask you to walk your child(ren) to their designated room.
Once the church service is over, you are asked to head to the area you dropped off your child(ren). Here you will check out your child(ren) and be directed to their small group for pick up.
Check-out times are based on the time church service ends.
FORMAT
Our Sunday programming varies according to the age range of the group. Generally, all our programs include a time of musical praise, a large group lesson, and a review of the weekly memory verse. After large group teaching time ends our MetTykes work on a craft and have some playtime while our Elementary students split up into small groups to discuss the lesson and complete their weekly activity sheet.
CURRICULUM
Our MetKids Sunday programming is based on the Gospel Project Curriculum. This Word-driven, Christ-centered, and visually engaging curriculum is a chronological Bible study that shows how all Scripture points us to Jesus. We want to help families and kids see how the Bible fits together to tell one big story—God’s plan to rescue and redeem sinners through faith in Jesus Christ. Our hope is that our Sunday morning teaching and small group time will spark further family discussions throughout the week.
FAMILY RESOURCES
In alignment with The Met’s mission, our MetKids ministry partners with families, together making disciples of Jesus Christ, engaging children with the gospel, establishing believers in the gospel, and equipping children, families and volunteers in our church and wider community.
Our MetKids Sunday Services are just a small part of how we partner and equip families. We encourage you to check out our MetKids social media channels to stay up to date with family resources that can help you and your family strengthen their faith journey.
